This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which My HDContacts ("the App") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the mobile application. This policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by The developer.

The App is designed to help you manage your contacts. As such, it requires access to your device's contact list. The App collects and uses the following types of data exclusively for the purpose of providing the specified functionalities:

Contacts Information

When you use the App, we access your device's contacts list, which may include names, phone numbers, email addresses, and other information you have stored. This data is processed locally on your device to enable core features like searching, filtering, and displaying your contacts.

Permissions

The App requests the following permissions to function as described:

• READ_CONTACTS: To allow the App to read and display your contact list for searching and viewing.
• WRITE_CONTACTS: To allow the App to delete contacts as per your instruction. This permission is necessary for the "delete contacts" feature.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To allow the App to create and store the exported contact file (e.g., in VCF format) on your device's local storage. This permission is necessary for the "export contacts" feature.

2. Data Processing and Storage

• Local Processing: All processing of your contacts data—for searching, exporting, or deleting—occurs entirely on your mobile device. Your contacts data is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
• No Cloud Storage: We do not collect, store, or otherwise have access to your contacts data. The data remains on your device under your control.

3. Data Deletion and User Control

• In-App Deletion: The "delete contacts" feature allows you to permanently remove contacts from your device's local address book. This action is irreversible and is performed directly on your device. We have no access to the contacts you delete.
• Uninstallation: You can stop all data processing and remove the App by uninstalling it from your device. This will also delete any locally stored app data, but will not affect the contacts on your device, unless they were previously deleted by the App.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not share your contacts or any other personal information with any third-party services, including analytics, advertising, or data monetization services. The App's functionality is self-contained and operates exclusively on your device.

5. Security

We are committed to protecting the data on your device. The App is designed to minimize data exposure by performing all operations locally. We do not transmit your data over the internet, which eliminates the risk of data interception. We use standard industry practices to ensure the security and integrity of the App itself.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
